On Monday 11th November, Robin Class took part in a Panathlon event where we competed against other schools in different games including curling and boccia, in the hope to get through to the finals in London next year. We worked very hard as a team and will find out where we ranked soon…fingers crossed!
On Thursday 11th July, Robin Class went on a trip to Brighton. We went on the Volks Electric rail along the beach to the pier, had some photos and picked up souvenirs, before heading to the beach. The sea was cold but that didn’t stop us! We had a fantastic day!
On 23rd May we went to Red Gates school for a bubble workshop. We joined our friends to sing songs, pop bubbles, watch bubble magic and we saw the most enormous bubbles! At the end of the session we stood inside a bubble. We had a fantastic time!
Last week we had lots of fun when some parents joined us for learn and lunch. First we shared the books we are reading then we made parrots which sat on our wrists and gave them a name. Every pirate needs a parrot! Ahoy, me hearties!!
This term our topic is Land Ahoy! We are learning about famous pirates, ships, sea rescue and much more. Ask your child about our class treasure hunt and their pirate name. Encourage them to find out some interesting facts they can share with their friends in Robins class.
