The pupils in Badgers Class have been learning about the weather in Geography.  They pretended to be weather forecasters and also learnt about the United Kingdom map.

Well done to to our first GSP pupil to read one million words in our Accelerated Reader program. Today they got a prize and certificate. Some of you are really close to becoming millionaire readers. Keep on reading and you can join the club!

Look who came to visit us all today! He landed his sleigh on the school roof and surprised the children. The delight on the children’s faces was magical. Every child was given a certificate for excellence, a class book and a class board game from the PTA. A very exciting day!  

The children had an amazing afternoon singing and laughing along to the Aladdin Pantomime.  What a wonderful experience for everyone!

The children in The Nest created a nativity crib scene for St Mary’s Church.  They visited the church and listened to the nativity story.

The children in the EYFS enjoy participating in their Pen Disco sessions.  This week it was ‘We Will Rock You’.

The Nest are now undertaking weekly horse riding sessions as part of their enrichment programme.  

The Nest won a competition to visit Oxygen Trampoline Park. We have been learning about animals, so we had a whole morning jumping around like frogs, monkeys and kangeroos.

Today Year 3 and 4 listened to stories around the firepit.  They focused on a Tony Bradman story and linked it to Arthur and the Golden Rope.  They enjoyed having hot chocolate and biscuits. #MemorableExperiences #LoveOfReading
